
The COMMUNITY APARTMENT PROGRAM (CAP) offers persons with mental illness a
supportive living environment that promotes the learning of skills needed to maintain residence in the community.
CAP services include:
· 24-hour staffing
· Case management
· Skills training
· Medication monitoring
· Goal oriented service planning
· Crisis intervention
· Assistance in establishing daily structure through meaningful activity
· Engagement and coaching in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
· Transportation as needed
CAP staff serves 20 residents who live in close proximity to the staff office. CAP employs seven full-time and three part-time staff, a Program Coordinator, and a Unit Director. The goal of the program is to prepare individuals to live independently and improve their quality of life in the community.
